Chapter Eighteen
THE URIM AND THUMMIM
The Keys of Enoch gives the following explanation of the
Urim and Thummim:
Glossary, Page 608 "Urim and Thummim
Sanctified crystals which form a grid for communication
using sacred Light and sound patterns which form geometries
working with harmonics on given magnetic grids.
Urim circuitry Crystalline powers
balanced with the mind."
The Urim and Thummim were used anciently. They were used by
Abraham to RECEIVE INFORMATION ON ASTRONOMY from the Lord
(See Abr. 3:1); also THAT A RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT COULD BE
EXECUTED (Ex. 28:15, 29 & 30, and Lev. 8:8); and to
RECEIVE KNOWLEDGE AND COUNSEL (Nu. 27:21 and 1 Sam. 30:7
& 8).
Keys of Enoch, Key 319, Page 548, Verse 34 "And the Lord
said to Abraham, "By the Urim and Thummim, your station of
creation was after the manner of the Lords, according to its
times and seasons in the revolutions; that one revolution
was a day to the Lord, after his manner of reckoning; it
being one thousand years according to the time appointed to
that spacetime where you stand. This is the reckoning of the
Lord's time for your physical world according to the
reckoning of the Lords of the Heavens."
Also: Abraham 3:4 "And the Lord said unto me, by the Urim
and Thummim, that Kolob was after the manner of the Lord,
according to its times and seasons in the revolutions
thereof; that one revolution was a day unto the Lord, after
his manner of reckoning, it being one thousand years
according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou
standest. This is the reckoning of the Lord's time,
according to the reckoning of Kolob."
Keys of Enoch, Key l l l, Page 109, Verse 27 "The mandate
for the use of these stones was given to the true priests of
Israel who were the elect of the Name (Exodus
28:15-28)."
It was also in use among the Nephites to translate the
records:
Mosiah 28:13 "And now he (Mosiah)
translated them (records) by the
means of those two stones which were fastened into the two
rims of a bow .
14 Now these things were prepared from the
beginning, and were handed down from generation to
generation for the purpose of interpreting
languages ;
15 And thev have been kept and preserved by the hand
of the Lord! that he should discover to every creature who
should possess the land the iniquities and abominations of
his people ;
16 And whosoever has these things is called seer, after the
manner of old times."
Keys of Enoch, Key l l l, Page 109, Verse 24 "The Urim and
Thummim are "the lights" of charged crystals producing a
field effect of color whereby the thought-forms of prayer
can be targeted along any number of energy grids allowing
for the electrif~cation of matter.
25 These Urim and Thummim crystals can be materialized by
the Masters of Light to render capabilities for special
work. These stones are to be placed in front of the body so
that the spiritual third eye can use the crystals as a point
of focus. A key crystal serves as the key focal point for
energizing the crystals which are placed in a pattern of two
Mogan Davids."
And they were received again in this the last dispensation
for the purpose of translating records:
Joseph Smith - History 1:35 "....there were two stones in
silver bows - and these stones, fastened to a breastplate,
constituted what is called the Urim and Thummim - deposited
with the plates; and the possession and use of these stones
were what constituted "seers" in ancient or tormer times;
and that God had prepared them for the purpose of
translating the book ."
Keys of Enoch, Key 112, Page 119, Verse 73 " .... the
channel of Light that is working through the helmet and the
breastplate is continual. This is the focus for the language
of the Urim and Thummim. All of the energy charges which
come in through your heart chakra must be in league with
your kether fire of faith. "
D & C 17:1 "Behold, I say unto you, that you must rely
upon my word, which if you do with full purpose of heart,
you shall have a view of the plates and also of the
breastplate, the sword of Laban. the Urim and Thummim. which
were given to the brother of Jared upon the mount. when he
talked with the Lord face to face and the miraculous
directors which were given to Lehi while in the wilderness.
on the borders of the Red Sea .

3 And after that you have obtained faith. and have
seen them with your eyes, you shall testify of them
by the power of God;
4 And this you shall do that my servant
Joseph Smith. Jun.. may not be destroyed. that I may bring
about my righteous purposes unto the children of men in this
work. "
The foregoing informs us that there were to be others
allowed to see the Urim and Thummim to be witnesses to their
authenticity to protect the Prophet, Joseph Smith.
Since the Urim and Thummin have all of the abilities
mentioned such as giving information about astronomy,
bringing about righteous judgments, translating records,
interpreting languages and making known the iniquites and
abominations among the people, the Church should be using
these tremendously important instruments if they still have
them in their possession.
