Chapter Twenty One
THE TRUE CHURCH OF CHRIST
Keys of Enoch, Key 105, Page 48, Verse 45 "The
Higher Intelligence will return to such areas as the Takla
Makan basin , the Ural-Caspian Sea basin, the Dead
Sea basin, the basin of the Sahara, the basin of the
Kalahari, and the SALT LAKE BASIN area -
where the programmers originally came to lay the
foundations of the deep during previous Alpha
cycles .
46 The twelve artificial time warp islands of Light will be
formed out of the oceans and seas, as great interlocking
circles connected with the polar areas.
47 The harmonics of Light will reveal the ancient
lands of the NEPHITES in the Americas; these will show the
overlap where the Brotherhood will land in America to gather
the "righteous seed. ""
Key 210, Page 263 & 264, Verse 7 "Under the guidance of
the Sons of Light, the True Israel brought the Scriptures of
Light to the community of Qumran; the True Israel brought
the Scriptures of Light to the community of Alexandria; the
True Israel brought the Scripture of Light to the Takla
Makan Basin of Tibet; the True Israel brought the Scriptures
of Light to the community of Nag Hammadi; and the
TRUE ISRAEL BROUGHT THE SCRIPTURES OF LIGHT TO THE GREAT
SALT LAKE .
8 It is they who are receptacles for the Flame of
YHWH (Hebrew word for God!: the recipients for the
consciousness architecture of the world. They are the
indwelling consciousness communication channels for YHWH!
who is the Mind of Universal Intelligence governing our
Father universe ."
Key 217, Page 332, Verse 20 "The Seraphim tell us.
"Rejoice Children of Uprighteousness and Light. the
crystalline fields of Light upon your door posts of the body
temple have been activated. for you are part of the greater
star seed ."
21 And the name of this temple within you. WHICH
SHALL NOT RECEIVE THE ANGEL OF DEATH. but the angel of
Light. is called Amen. The "Amen" is identified with the
People of God , whether they are at On, Memphis,
Beersheba, Bethlehem, Megiddo, or THE BASIN OF THE
GREAT SALT LAKE . All of these faithful communities
will rejoice because there the Light has already been
centered in the crystalline fields beneath these cities.
22 So prepare Children of Zion: your community is to be
organized as a defensive family against attack."
The scriptures refer to two churches - the true church of
Christ and the great and abominable Church.
Revelation enlightens us that the TRUE CHURCH OF CHRIST is
not confined to any ONE denomination but constitutes the
righteous throughout the world:
D & C 10:67 "BEHOLD. THIS IS MY DOCTRINE -
WHOSOEVER REPENTETH AND COMETH UNTO ME' THE SAME IS MY
CHURCH .
68 WHOSOEVER DECLARETH MORE OR LESS THAN THIS, THE
SAME IS NOT OF ME, BUT IS AGAINST ME; THEREFORE HE IS NOT OF
MY CHURCH .
Since the true church constitutes anyone who is righteous
these members (of the true church) must come from all
organized religious groups, even outside organized groups as
some, without religious affiliation, could be believers in
God and also living righteous lives.
Joseph Smith recognized that all Christian denominations
possessed the most important characteristic - a belief in
the Godhead:
Diaries, Page 395 "Where in do you differ from other in your
religion views?" In reality and essence we do not
differ so far in our religious views but that WE COULD ALL
DRINK INTO ONE PRINCIPLE OF LOVE .
We believe in the great Eloheim who sits enthroned in yonder
heavens. So do the
Presbyterians Do you believe in Jesus Christ &c? So do
I. Christians should cultivate
the friendship with others and will do it."
Pages 394 & 395 Mormons can testify whether I am willing
to lay down my life for a Mormon. If it has been
demonstrated that I have been willing to die for a Mormon, I
am bold to declare that I am just as ready to die for a
Presbyterian, a Baptist, or any other denomination. "
Those throughout the world who have become worthy to be
members of Christ's church evidently exercised faith in the
Godhead - the foundation of all Christian denominations.
Joseph tried to unite all Christians:
"H G. Sherwood preached a Methodist Sermon. (See Diaries,
Page 293)
Diaries, Pages 414 & 415 "P.M. Mr. Blodget the
Unitarian Minister preached ."
Diaries, Page 386 "3 1/2 P.M. .... Joseph introduced
Elder DeWolf Elder of the Episcopal Church! requesting the
most profound attention of the congregation . The
day was pleasant and the walls of the building were nearly
full. Elder DeWolf read the 6th of Hebrews and kneeled and
prayed, dressed in the black gown, the common clerical robe
of the English Church. Choir sung.
.................
(Elder DeWolf stated) I may never meet you all again
this side of the eternal world. BUT I WILL APPOINT A MEETING
i.e.! when the Lord Jesus shall descend with his angels to
call the dead from their graves and sit in Judgment
."
Note the beautiful reaction of this appointment of Elder
DeWolf of the Episcopal Church.
The Apostle, Paul anciently also felt the need to unite all
Christians:
RB, I Cor. 1:10 "Now I beseech you, brethren, by the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ! that ye all speak the same
thing, and that there be no divisions among you: but that ye
be perfectly ioined together in the same mind and in the
same judgment .
11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by
them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are
contentions among you.
12 Now this I say, that many of you saith, I am of
Paul: and I of Apollos: and I of Cephas; and I of
Christ.
13 IS CHRIST DIVIDED ?"
Since I am not well acquainted with other denominations
other than the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
(Mormon) I will elaborate on that which Joseph Smith
restored believing that anything contrary to these precious
truths would constitute the teachings of a great and
abominable church.
He promoted the folly of exalting those in authority:
Words of JS, Page 120 "Prest. Smith rose; read the 14th
Chap. of Ezekiel - Said the Lord had declared by the prophet
that THE PEOPLE SHOULD EACH ONE STAND FOR HIMSELF
AND DEPEND ON NO MAN OR MEN in that state of
corruption of the Jewish Church - that RIGHTEOUS
PERSONS COULD ONLY DELIVER THEIR OWN SOULS - APPLIED IT TO
THE PRESENT STATE OF THE CHURCH OF LATTER DAY SAINTS
- Said if the people departed from the Lord, they
must fall - that THEY WERE DEPENDING ON THE PROPHET
HENCE WERE DARKENED IN THEIR MINDS FROM NEGLECT OF
THEMSELVES - "
Page 7 "When the Twelve or any other witness of Jesus Christ
stands before the Congregations of the earth & they
preach in the power & demonstration of the Holy Ghost
...... TAKE CARE THAT THEY DO NOT ASSCRIBE THE GLORY
UNTO THEMSELVES BUT BE CAREFUL THAT THEY ARE HUMBLE &
ASSCRIBE THE PRAISE & GLORY TO GOD & THE LAMB FOR IT
IS BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY PRIESTHOOD & THE HOLY GHOST
THAT THEY HAVE POWER THUS TO SPEAK . What art thou
O man but dust & from wholm dost thou received thy power
& blessings but from God, .. "
D & C 1:19 ".... - " man should not counsel his
fellow man, NEITHER TRUST IN THE ARM OF FLESH
Diaries, Page 378 " Many think a prophet must be a great
deal better than any body else
.......
I don't want you to think I am very righteous, for I AM NOT
VERY RIGHTEOUS. " (Also Teachings, Page 278)
When he was chastened by the Lord he acknowledged it openly.
(See D & C 93:47 & 48)
The calling of a prophet does not guarantee that "all
knowledge" is or will be given to them. Joseph Smith revised
the bible as follows:
King James Version, Amos 3:6 "Shall a trumpet be blown in
the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil
in a city, and the Lord hath not done it?
7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his
secret unto his servants the prophets. "
This version leads one to believe that ALL of the Lord's
secrets are given the prophets. That which is changed is
underlined:
RB, Amos 3:6 "Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the
people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the
Lord hath not known ?
7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing UNTIL
he revealeth the secret unto his servants the prophets.
"
According to the correction, no great evil will be brought
about until the Lord God has forewarned us through his
prophets.
The scriptures also give great admonition for all, no matter
what their calling or gift, to remain humble. (See Ro.
12:3-8)
Christ, as head of the Church, took no honor unto himself
setting the example for all to follow:
St John 7:16 "Jesus answered them, and said, MY
DOCTRINE IS NOT MINE, BUT HIS THAT SENT ME .
17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the
doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of
myself.
18 HE THAT SPEAKETH OF HIMSELF SEEKETH HIS OWN
GLORY: BUT HE THAT SEEKETH HIS GLORY THAT SENT HIM. THE SAME
IS TRUE. AND NO UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IS IN HIM ."
Any authority from the Divine is weakened or cancelled with
self exaltion:
D & C 121:34 "Behold, there are many called, but few are
chosen. And why are they not chosen?
35 Because their hearts are set so much upon the things of
this world, and aspire to the
honors of men, that they do not learn this one lesson -
36 That the rights of the priesthood are inseparably
connected with the powers of heaven, and that the powers of
heaven cannot be controlled nor handled only upon the
principles of righteousness .
37 That they may be conferred upon us, it is true; but when
we undertake to cover our sins,
or to gratify our pride, our vain ambition, or to exercise
control or dominion or compulsion
upon the souls of the children of men, in any degree of
unrighteousness, behold, the heavens
withdraw themselves; the Spirit of the Lord is grieved; and
when it is withdrawn, Amen to the
priesthood or the authority of that man.
38 Behold, ere he is aware, he is left unto himself, to kick
against the pricks, to persecute
the saints, and to f~ght against God.
39 We have learned bv sad experience that it is the
nature and disposition of almost all men. as soon as they
get a little authority, AS THEY SUPPOSE, they will
immediately begin to exercise unrighteous
dominion.
40 Hence many are called. but few are
chosen .
41 No power or influence can or ought to be maintained by
virtue of the priesthood, only by persuasion, by
long-suffering, by gentleness and meekness, and by love
unfeigned;
42 By kindness, and pure knowledge, which shall greatly
enlarge the soul without hypocrisy, and without guile
43 Reproving betimes with sharpness, when moved upon by the
Holy Ghost; and then showing forth afterwards an increase of
love toward him whom thou hast reproved, lest he esteem thee
to be his enemy;
44 That he may know that thy faithfulness is stronger than
the cords of death.
45 Let thy bowels also be full of charity towards
all men, and to the household of faith, and let virtue
garnish thy thoughts unceasingly: then shall thy confidence
wax strong in the presence of God; and the doctrine of the
priesthood shall distil upon thy soul as the dews from
heaven .
46 The Holy Ghost shall be thy constant companion.
and thy scepter an unchanging scepter of righteousness and
truth; and thy dominion shall be an everlasting dominion.
and without compulsory means it shall flow unto thee forever
and ever ."
The Holy Ghost is the ONLY true source for receiving
truth:
Moroni 10:5 "... by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know
the truth of all things."
Words of JS, Page 4 "This first comforter or Holy Ghost has
no other effect than pure inteligence. "
ANYONE can receive truth from this
source:
James 1:5 "If ANY OF YOU lack wisdom let him ask of God,
that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it
shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. "
COMPLETE FREEDOM must be given for receiving truth:
Journal, Page 203 ".... the most prominent difference in
sentiment between the Latter-day Saints and sectarians was,
that the latter were all circumscribed by some
peculiar creed, WHICH DEPRIVED ITS MEMBERS THE PRIVILEGE OF
BELIEVING ANYTHING NOT CONTAINED THEREIN, whereas the
Latter-day Saints have no creed, but are ready to believe
all true principles that exist! as they are made manifest
from time to time . "
Diaries, Page 395 "One of the grand fundamental
principles of Mormonism is to receive truth. LET IT COME
FROM WHERE IT MAY . "
D & C 88:118 ".... SEEK YE OUT OF THE BEST BOOKS
words of wisdom: seek learning even by study and also by
faith .
D & C 90:15 ".... study and learn! and BECOME
ACOUAINTED WITH ALL GOOD BOOKS , and with
languages, tongues, and people."
The original 8th Article of Faith (JSBHW, Vol. II,
"We believe in the Word of God recorded in the
Bible; we also believe the Word of God recorded in the Book
of Mormon, AND IN ALL OTHER GOOD
BOOKS . "
The foregoing leaves room for human error; that not every
word in the Holy Writ is necessarily the Word of God; also,
that the Word of God can come from other sources.
And the 14th Article of Faith (JSBHW, Vol. II)
"..........EVERYTHING virtuous, lovely,
praiseworthy and of good report, we seek after"
Another beautiful truth restored is in the government of the
Church which informs us that we are a theocratic democracy
and, therefore, being free from fear, have the privilege to
vote on decisions made. Joseph loved the freedom to have an
opinion:
Words of JS, Pages 187 and 188 "I did not like the old man
being called up before the High Council for erring in
doctrine. - why I feel so good to have the privilege
of thinking & believing as I please . They
undertook to correct him there (whether they did or not I
dont care)"
Diaries, Page 420 "It is one of the first principles of my
life and one that I have cultivated from my childhood,
having been taught it of my father, to allow every
one the liberty of conscience ........"
Pages 394 & 395 "It is a love of liberty which inspires
my soul .........If I esteem mankind to be in error shall I
bear them down? No! I will lift them up and in his own way
if I cannot persuade him my way is better, I will ask no man
to believe as I do."
Also important is a continued correct perspective of the
OUTWARD ordinances (Baptism, sacrament, etc) - that they are
not, in and of themselves salvation, but the PATTERN to gain
salvation.
The most important part of the restored gospel is the
spiritual gifts. No religious organization can survive
effectively without them. They are:
1. The Priesthood - making known to ALL (men and women) that
they have within themselves the possibility of its powers
and blessings.
2. Patriarchal blessings - knowledge of our divine callings
and missions on earth:
I Timothy 4:14 "Neglect not the GIFT that
is IN THEE, which was GIVEN THEE BY PROPHECY, with the
laying on of the hands of the
presbytery."
3. Gift of the Holy Spirit - the source through which a
TESTIMONY DEVELOPS and ALL TRUTH IS GIVEN:
Teachings, Page l l & 12 "Search the scriptures - search
the revelations which we publish, and ask your Heavenly
Father, in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, to manifest the
truth unto you and if you do it with an eye single to His
glory nothing doubting, HE WILL ANSWER YOU BY THE
POWER OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT . You will then
know for yourselves and not for another. You will not then
be dependent on man for the knowledge of god: nor will there
be any room for speculation ."
IT IS THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT WE RECEIVE THE FULLNESS
OF THE FATHER:
JSBHW, Vol. l l, L on F, Section V, Page 54 "As the Son
partakes of the fulness of the Father through the Spirit, so
the Saints are, by the same Spirit, to be partakers of the
same fulness, to enjoy the same glory;"
The reason any dispensation of truth is restored to the
earth is to make known the spiritual truths. Thus, how
important it is that any religious denomination constantly
stress making use of the spiritual gifts. We know so little
as mortals and if "truth is to cover the earth" much is
going to be restored. If we are not well acquainted with the
use of the Holy Spirit we could be confounded.
When the Salamander letter came to light I was delighted. I
knew that God uses "elementals" - things of the earth - to
put over a point such as "the sign of the dove" which means
"peace" or the serpent which denotes "great knowledge." The
Salamander means "more light." I was pleased with the
thought that the Salamander showed Joseph where to f~nd more
light (the Book of Mormon plates). I remember thinking how
sophisticated the Prophet was. Nevertheless, I was told how
reassuring it was to some members of the Church when the
letter was declared "a fraud" - that even a stake president
had left the church because of this letter. The status of
the Salamander letter I will leave for the Church to decide
but I learned from it how delicate in the balance are the
testimonies of some in high places which demonstrates the
slothful use of the Holy Spirit.
The Book of Mormon gives a description of the Abominable
Church:
1 Ne. 22:22 "And the righteous need not fear! for
they are those who shall not be confounded . But it
is the kingdom of the devil, which shall be built up among
the children of men, which kingdom is established among them
which are in the flesh
23 For the time speedily shall come that all churches which
are built up to get gain, and all those who are built
up to get power over the flesh , and those
who are built up to become popular in the eyes of
the world , and those who seek the lusts of
the flesh and the things of the world , and to
do all manner of iniquity ; yea, in fine,
all those who belong to the kingdom of the devil are they
who need fear, and tremble, and quake; they are those who
must be brought low in the dust; they are those who must be
consumed as stubble; and this is according to the words of
the prophet."
Any religious organization can be classified as the
"abomination desolation " of organized
religious affiliation if they lock their members into the
following:
1. Exalting those in authority.
2. Dependency on those in authority.
3. Teaching that just the performance of
outward ordinances brings salvation.
4. Professing that truth can NOT come from any other source
than from within their organization.
5. Teaching that salvation and exaltation does not encompass
ALL PEOPLE.
6. Claiming sole ownership of
DIVINE AUTHORITY and
COMMUNICATION .
Divine authority can be given to ANYONE who
in sincerity and holiness of heart asks as was the case with
Alma. (See Mosiah 18: 12-15)
RB, Luke 9:49 "And John spake and said, Master, we saw one
casting out devils in thy
name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with
us.
50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid not any, for HE WHO IS
NOT AGAINST US IS FOR
US." (Also Mark 9:38-41)
Any religious organization that does not consrantly inspire
their following TO SEARCH AND DEPEND UPON THAT WHICH IS
SPIRITUAL - the gifts, powers and callings from the Divine
and TO SEEK THE GOD-SELF WITHIN is encouraging their members
to be numbered among the ten virgins who did not - could not
- have their lamps lit when the Savior comes.
Keys of Enoch, Key 308, Verse 2 "It will become
apparent to Man that organized religion has shown disrespect
for the ancient scientific scriptures of Light. For this
reason organized religions. who promote the priesthoods of
Man at the expense of the scriptures. will be seen as the
"Abomination of Desolation" because they sit in the place of
the Lord God proclaiming themselves as the force of YHWH
(Hebrew meaning of the word God? and the authority of
Christ.
3 These authorities neutralize
consciousness causing the neutralization of spiritual
growth, literally the nullification of the ongoing inner
consciousness which was brought by the Christ and which has
continued to radiate through the ages in the scriptures of
Light ."
Page 418, Verse 13 ".........the Abomination of
Desolation is anything that deceives the priesthoods of the
earth BY NOT PERMITTING THE REIGN OF "SPIRITUAL WISDOM" TO
REVEAL GOD'S KINGDOM BEYOND THE EARTH !"
Page 420, Verse 28 The "return to Israel" and the finding of
the Dead Sea Scrolls are the fulfillment of two great
prophecies which must take place before the return of the
Messiah to earth which is the third great prophecy.
29 All of these scriptures tell us that before the end of
the world, the non-believers will take control and will not
acknowledge the Hosts of the Father. They will try to
destroy religion, but religion will destroy itself
because it has held on to mythological forms and the
authority to enforce the meaning of the scriptures
imperfectly and with "great fear".
30 Therefore, today we have the modern Sadducees
who are the organized religions denying the "fourteen gifts"
of the Holy Spirit Shekinah, denying the resurrection of the
"Christed souls" outside the church, and denying the higher
worlds of Light that serve a Living God."
The Book of Mormon gives a description of the TRUE
CHURCH OF CHRIST :
4 Ne. l: 1 "..........the disciples of Jesus had formed a
church of Christ in all the lands round
about. And as many as did come unto them, and DID
TRULY REPENT of their sins, were baptized
in the name of Jesus; and they did also receive the Holy
Ghost .
2 .............and there were no contentions and
disputations among them, and every man did deal justly one
with another .
3 And they had all things common among them:
therefore there were not rich and poor, bond and free. but
THEY WERE ALL MADE FREE, AND PARTAKERS OF THE HEAVENLY
GIFT .
.................
5 And there were great and marvelous works wrought by the
disciples of Jesus, insomuch that they did heal the sick,
and raise the dead, and cause the lame to walk, and the
hlind to receive their sight, and the deaf to hear; and
all manner of miracles did they work among the
children of men; and IN NOTHING DID THEY WORK MIRACLES SAVE
IT WERE IN THE NAME OF JESUS ."
The foregoing term "DID TRULY REPENT" informs us that they
sincerely and diligently sought for that which was not of
the flesh but that which was spiritual. Therefore, the
names
listed in the record books were NOT JUST STATISTICS BUT
LIVING EXAMPLES of not only the "called" but those who would
be "chosen." And because of their righteous endeavor there
were NO CONTENTIONS, DISPUTATIONS OR DISHONESTY AMONG THEM
and THERE WERE NONE IN WANT OR WITH EXCESS, for worldy
things were in their PROPER PERSPECTIVE - not idols.
To summarize the foregoing I will quote the following
scripture that informs us of the only church that HAS
existed upon the earth (the we have knowledge of) that was
worthy to be taken into heaven:
Moses 7:18 "AND THE LORD CALLED HIS PEOPLE ZION, BECAUSE
THEY WERE OF ONE HEART AND ONE MIND, AND DWELT IN
RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND THERE WAS NO POOR AMONG
THEM .
19 And Enoch continued his preaching in righteousness unto
the people of God. And it came to pass in his day, that he
built a city that was called the City of Holiness, even
Zion.
20 And it came to pass that Enoch talked with the Lord; and
he said unto the Lord: Surely Zion shall dwell in safety
forever.

29 AND AFTER THAT ZION WAS TAKEN INTO
HEAVEN ...'
